Lansing Chapter
The Lansing Chapter of the Michigan Occupational Therapy Association provides clinicians with a local connection to the association at large. The chapter hosts quarterly local meetings to provide members with current topics relevant to the profession as well as disseminate information from the MiOTA governing structure.

One (1) professional development unit (PDU) will be awarded to active MiOTA members in attendance. The certificate will be emailed to all attendees.
Guests are always welcome to see what MiOTA is about at the local level; however, after one free visit we request that you become a member in order to continue attending the chapter meetings. We hope that you like what you see and want to join. Membership forms will be available at the meeting.

Courtney Brayman, OTRL, CHT, CSRS
Courtney is an Occupational Therapist working for UMH Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. She loves working full-time on the hospital’s float team, working all clinical sites including: outpatient orthopedics, outpatient neurology, acute care, long-term acute care, geriatric psychology, & inpatient rehabilitation. Courtney is a Certified Hand Therapist as well as a Certified Stroke Rehab Specialist. She would tell you that the best part of her job is maintaining a copious list of hilarious patient quotes that would make a pretty great book one day. Courtney also loves learning from her patients, while partnering with them to achieve their goals
Lindsay Zevchak, OTR/L, CHT
Lindsay is an Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist with U of M Health Sparrow in Lansing, MI. She has been with Sparrow since 2014 working primarily in outpatient rehabilitation, additionally she has worked as part of the weekend cadre for the inpatient rehabilitation unit at McLaren in Flint, MI. After pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Michigan State University, she went on to graduate with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Western Michigan University. Special interest areas include joining orthopedic rehabilitation with the functional foundation of occupational therapy and promoting evidence-based practice. Outside of work, Lindsay enjoys spending time with her family outdoors, hiking and camping. Prior to becoming an occupational therapist, Lindsay was a member of the United States Coast Guard Reserve which afforded her an opportunity to work in several different areas of the country and gain an appreciation for the value of learning from others. This shapes her occupational therapy work in many ways but especially in terms of creating a unique treatment plan geared toward improving participation in occupations of personal value to the individual.
